Often I think that the international media and local media of Pakistan are too much consumed with the political problems of the country. As a result, they neglect business news items. For ordinary people, increase in food price is perhaps much more important than any political crisis. Most people in Pakistan are either poor or belong to lower middle class. So, high food price inflation is really a bad news for them.
Monsters and Critics wrote:
'Food inflation will touch 26 per cent and maybe more in the upcoming days,' State Bank of Pakistan Governor Shamshad Akhtar said.
The bank is also fighting a tough battle to stem overall inflation due to soaring international oil prices amid domestic and worldwide food shortages.
Pakistan's annual inflation has already doubled from 12.5 per cent to 25.5 per cent while the overall core inflation is also touching double digits.
So, you can see that there is nothing to cheer about. Rising oil price in international market is not helping Pakistan at all. However, I think that Pakistan needs to focus more on agriculture. Often farmers don’t get fair price for their harvest.

Price hike of daily good seems to be the toughest problem in the world. For rising food price, most of the Pakistani people are suffering and they are failing to afford it. I feel sad when i heard that farmers don't get right fare being struggle hard to produce food. So, i hope government of Pakistan team will take any steps to come back from this bad situation and eyeing toward the farmer as they can get good amount of fare for their living.
