Nepal has become a republic and King Gyanendra Shah is going to leave the palace within a few days. Gyanendra Shah is going to be just like an ordinary rich man. So, most people are not concerned about him now. Instead, they are waiting to see who is going to be the first president of Nepal.
There is a tug of war between the political parties about the two top posts: president and prime minister. The Maoists want both of them and their logic is that they are the largest party in the Parliament. However, the Maoists failed to get majority in the election and other large parties Nepali Congress and the UML leaders are adamant that the Maoists do not get both the posts.
So, you can be sure a lot of demand and counter demands in the next few days in Nepal from the political leaders. I just hope that this matter does not lead to any violence.

King Gyanendra Shah has lost his position and power. Gengeral people are now safe from this evil king. But within few days they may going to face policital problems as two big teams are now busy to get their political power. I am eagerly waiting to see who will be the first president of Nepal.
