Bangladesh played very well today. Many people in Dhaka (including me) felt that Bangladesh might have caused an upset in today’s match against India. Bangladesh batter first and posted an imposing total of 283 runs. Alok Kapali scored a brilliant century for Bangladesh. He scored 115 off 96 balls. Alok Kapali hit 5 over boundaries in this innings. Tamim Iqbal scored 55 runs.

When India started batting, they lost a wicket very quickly. In fact, they were soon under pressure from Bangladeshi bowlers. However, Suresh Raina was in superb form today. He scored 116 runs not out off just 107 balls. His batting was marvelous. He batted very well in the last match against Pakistan too. Bangladeshi fielders dropped some easy catches and it helped India to win almost 7 overs left in the match. In the end, it was an easy win for team India but Bangladesh played well too.
