Asia Cup 2008: Pakistan against Hong Kong

Asia Cup Cricket 2008 is beginning from tomorrow. Pakistan is going to play against Hong Kong and the match will be played in National Stadium, Karachi. This match will start from 17:00 Pakistan time (GMT 11:00). Pakistan is the hot favorite for the match. Even the most die hard fan of Hong Kong is not expecting any upset. Many people are not concerned with the matches. Rather, they are concerned about the security aspects of the event.

 

Asia Cup 2008 is important for Pakistan for another matter. In September 2008, ICC Champions Trophy will take place in Pakistan. So, Asia Cup will give PCB an opportunity to practice their hosting skills. Some countries like Australia are concerned that political violence in Pakistan is a threat to their safety. So, it is a must for PCB to ensure that Asia Cup 2008 goes on smoothly.

Asia Cup Cricket 2008 is expected to be an exciting tournament. For the first time, Pakistan is the host of Asia Cup. Now, they will also be the host of ICC Championship. Political problem is going throw all over in Pakistan country. So, tourists teams are concern about security more than their game. political problem can hamper the excitement of tournament.
