Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi are the two leading male tennis players of India. They used play in doubles together and they saw some impressive success. In fact, they won 3 grand slam doubles titles- the best performance of India in world tennis. Well, they did not have good relationship in the last few years and they did not play together.
The personal bad relationship went so far that a few days ago, Mahesh Bhupathi stated that he did not wish to team up with Paes in Beijing Olympics 2008. This caused a lot of concern among Indian fans as Tennis is one of the few events that India has any hope of winning a medal.
Now, the good news is that Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have agreed to play in Beijing Olympics as a doubles team.
By the way, you should not forget Sania Mirza either.
