I think that  Paramananda Jha is a very lucky and happy man. He has been elected as the first Vice-President in the history of Nepal. You know that Nepal had been a monarchy for many years and only in 2008, the country became a republic. General elections took place in April of this year. No party got clear cut majority in the parliament in which the Maoists emerged as the single largest party.

 Let us come back to Paramananda Jha. He hails from Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF). You know that there is problems among Madhesi people as they want more autonomy for their region. So, it will be interesting to see what Paramananda Jha can do for his own people.
