
After clinching their heaviest ever test victory over India in the first test, there is every possible reason Sri Lanka will come into the second test with full of confidence. In the first test, Sri Lankan spinners successfully did everything to demolish India’s experienced batting line up, without taking much help from the two pacers- Chaminda Vaas and Nuwan Kulasekera, who between them bowled only 30 overs in the first test.
Now, to create more pressure on Indian batsmen, Sri Lankan selectors named quick bowler Dammika Prasad who can very often beat the batsmen with speed, which lacked in Chaminda Vaas and Nuwan Kulasekera in the first test.
