Well, first of all poor selection of shot has been proven lethal for the Indians. Keeping my respect for the Sri Lankan spinners in tact, I would like to say that Indian batsmen totally failed to do what it takes to successfully face an experienced and quality bowling line up that
In second, Sri Lankan spinners seemed to have a psychological edge over the Indian batsmen that worked pretty well for the hosts. With Ajantha Mendis being raved around in the media before the series kicked off, Indian batsmen, to some extent, might have given too much focus on Mendis. Thirdly, they failed to remain calm and poised while under pressure, and could not show enough patience needed to save the test.

It was really unbelievable for cricket fans to see that India's top order failed to protest Sri Lankan spin duo. What's the reason for their defeat? Sachin Tendulkar lost his natural play. I think old players should make chance for new comers. They are not able to face any slow ball. They have become old. If they want to continue their game to earn some more money then it should a hypocrisy for their country. Rahul Dravid the worst batsman I have not ever seen. He need to do practice cricket in Tennis ball if he afraid to face cricket ball.
