Rumor spread out the Hrithik Roshan was having an affair with his Kite co-star, Barbara Mori. Kites is directed by Anurag Bose. In the movie, there are few intimate scenes between Barbara Mori and Hrithik Roshan including a kissing scene which was letter edited out by Hrithik Roshan’s father, Rakesh Rosha, producer of the movie.
