Bad time ahead for Indian Cinema Industry Business

In May 2009, most people in India were busy with election and IPL cricket. Bollywood saw some movies but none of them could create some buzz in the Media let alone in box office. Business is some dull and that is perhaps why, the top actor Shahrukh Khan gave a lot of time in IPL 2009 that is taking place in South Africa. It was his bad luck that his club performed very badly.

Anyway, there is a conflict between multiplex owners and Bollywood producers over distribution of ticket revenue and it did not help the industry. What I feel is that there is shortage of top celebrities who can ensure that movies will become big hit.
