![]() India may not be a rich country but Indians always love to travel and thanks to the numerous tourist attractions in India, Indians can enjoy traveling in their own country. Until now, this has been the trend- Indian travel to other parts of their own country. However, with the continuous economic growth and new found prosperity- many Indians are now seeking diversity and travel companies are now aggressively promoting foreign destinations. Singapore, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Dubai are becoming more and more popular to the Indian holiday makers. Going to a nearby foreign destination on Friday night and coming back in Sunday night or Monday morning is now a cool thing for many Indian middle class people. Travel companies have come out with affordable travel packages in which the tourists can find a substantial decrease in the plane ticket fare as well as hotel accommodation.
This trend means that neighboring Indian countries like Nepal and Bangladesh might just start to receive more visitors from India in the coming days. However, the same cannot be said about Pakistan as India and Pakistan are yet to make visa process easy for their citizens while traveling in each other's country.
