![]() I have been watching World Cup Football since 1982 and thus it is the 7th world cup I am enjoying. The main difference that I can see between 2006 event with the previous ones is that this time, Internet is playing a very important role to cater millions of football fans around the world. You can find an excellent Official site with contents in 9 languages. You can even enjoy live matches in Internet. However, the thing that has attracted me most is that this time thousands of people are writing about World Cup Football 2006 in many languages. All the time, in Technorati hot tags and hot searches, you can find words and phrases related to World Cup Football.
Americans may not be enthusiastic fans of football and even they may hate to call this game as 'football' (instead they call it 'soccer') but there are a number of American blogs on World Cup Football. Washington Post has an excellent blog on World Cup. However, my favorite is the BBC World Cup blog and in my next entry, I like to write about it.
Here are links of some other blogs about World Cup Football 2006. Go and enjoy them.
