![]() Nepalese economy is not at its good time now. Naturally TV traders did not expect good business and did not bother to keep many TV sets in their stock. Well, their assumption was 99% correct but I guess they did not take World Cup Football 2006 into consideration and this is the mistake they made. Dealers of Samsung and LG are now finding it difficult to supply the soaring demand for TV sets in Nepal. They have now the best business in many months and this good sale is expected to continue until the World Cup Football 2006 ends. If Argentina and Brazil do well in the tournament then TV traders may just have even a better business as most people in the country are supporters of these two teams.
A few days ago, I wrote about the good blessing of World Cup Football 2006 on the advertising industry in Nepal. I also wrote about increasing sales of TV sets in Bangladesh and India. Thus, it seems that World Cup Football 2006 has brought much needed boost for the TV traders in South Asia.

World Cup has really contributed a lot to Nepalese economy recently. Maybe if Argentina or Brazil win in it, World Cup would still continue to give Nepal good business even if the event has finally come to an end.
