I did not know that so many Nepalis are working abroad. 1.5 millions Nepalis working in nearly 60 countries in the world- this shows that the economy of the country is not doing well and that is why many people are desperate to go other countries to earn some money and send their families back home. The good thing is that Nepalese government is now trying to have special agreements with some fo the countries that have imported labor from Nepal in large number. People's Daily Online wrote:
“Nepal is initiating the process of signing labor agreements with various countries that have been importing Nepali workers, state run Radio Nepal reported Friday referring to a minister.
"We have taken the issue seriously and necessary measures will be taken immediately," said Ramesh Lekhak, minister for labor and transport management.
He said that only bilateral agreement with major labor destination could protect rights and safeguard interest of Nepalis working abroad.
He however, did not divulge the countries, with which the government is making preparation to sign the agreements. Nepal has signed bilateral agreement only with Qatar till date.”
I am very happy about this matter. I wish that other South Asian countries like Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka could take similar initiative to sign labor agreements with Middle Eastern countries.

that's a good news for nepal that 1.5 million Nepalis working in Foreign Countries.
