
From time immemorial, kings, prince and princess around the world have attracted people’s attention. They are the ones who always get what they want, they live in pomp and luxury, they have great powers and respected and feared by the people. Many small countries in the world sometimes make it to the headlines of the magazines and newspapers worldwide for their Royal figures. Their hobbies, lifestyles and various other activities either make them notorious or popular.
Bhutan and England; two countries situated in two continents have one thing in common; both these countries have their prince who are very popular not only in their countries but also in other countries as well.
Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck:

Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the Prince of Bhutan. He is born in February 21, 1980. Son of the present king of Bhutan, Jigme Singye Wangchuck and Queen, Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck, Namgyel is the heir to the throne. He will succeed his father as the King of Bhutan in 2008.
Namgyel finished his early education in Bhutan. He then went to UK to continue his education. He studied in reputed institutions like Cushing Academy, Wheaton College, and Magdalen College. Namgyel finished Foreign Service Program and did his M. Phil from Oxford University in Politics.
Recently, Namgyel went to Thailand to attend the anniversary celebration of the Thai King. Among the 25 royals who attended the ceremony, he was the youngest and his charming appearance and gentle behavior created a sensation in Thailand. He became very popular among Thai girls. The Thailand newspapers dubbed him as “Prince Charming” and published his photos and stories daily. One of the photos of Prince Namgyel resting his chin on the head of a woman created controversy in Thailand. The photo was distributed through internet. Many people assumed the mystery woman to be the lady love of Prince Namgyel. The life of the King is not discussed openly in public in Thailand. So, after few days, the Thai police intervened with the matter and stopped the distribution of the photo. Meanwhile, immediately after Jigme’s departure, Thai people became very interested to travel Bhutan.

William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor is the eldest son of Prince Charles and late Princess Diana. He will succeed the throne of England after his father, Prince Charles. Born in June, 1982, Prince William was christened in the music room of Buckingham Palace. His education started at Mrs Jane Mynors’ nursery school and Pre-prep Wetherby School. William finished his A-level from Eton College. One year after finishing his college, he attended the University of St Andrews. At first, he got admitted into Art History but later switched to Geography. After finishing his study, he joined the Sandhurst Military Academy. He will be the head of the armed force of Britain.
For his charming look, athletic ability, and royal birth, William was very popular in Britain from his teenage years. His first public appearance was at the age of eight. He went to Cardiff with his parents. At that time many school children came to see him and gave him gifts. After his admission in St. Andrews University, the institution saw a sudden increase in the number of under graduate applicants. When he joined the Sandhurst Military Academy, the officials thought that it would be a great advertisement for their institution.
While studying in St. Andrews, William met Kate Middleton, daughter of an English businessman. After breaking up with her former boyfriend in 2003, Kate and William became close. They first publicly appeared in a ski trip. After being attached with Prince William, Kate got huge media coverage.
Both these prince are very popular among their people for their charming appearance and nice behavior. They are every girl’s dream. However, WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSEBILITY (Uncle Ben Perker). At present, Bhutan is not a very developed country. Although the King has undertaken many developmental activities, there are many unsolved political and economical problems. After coming to power, Namgyel will have to deal with these issues. On the other hand, Prince William is pursuing his career in the army. Being born in a royal family, William had all the luxury, but the life in army is totally the opposite. It is harsh and requires hard work. William has to work very hard to prove himself as an able army personnel.
