“Nepal's tourism business has improved considerably during the past six months after the government and the rebel Maoists announced a ceasefire, with Indians accounting for the bulk of the tourists.
Tourist arrivals to Nepal by air increased by 14.5 per cent in 2005-2006 as against a decline of 17.8 per cent in 2004-2005, according to a report published by the Nepal Rastra Bank.”
