Are you planning to visit Nepal? Could not get air tickets? Do not loose heart yet friends!! Because the Nepalese government has ordered all the international airlines to increase their flight services. According to the report published in People’s Daily Online, all the international airlines operating in Nepal can add three more flights per week with their present schedules.
Many tourists from Europe are planning to visit Nepal. Due to smaller number of flights, they are not getting seats. So, the Nepalese government has taken this initiative. Gyan Amerasinghe, area manager, Qatar Airways, said that after getting the formal letter from the government, they would increase their number of flights from 11 to 14 per week.
Seven days ago, I have written about the upcoming tourist season in Nepal. Nepal is home of the top seven highest mountains of the world. In addition, the natural beauty- woods, rivers, fountains, and Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha attract tourists from all over the world. Political instability and Maoist rebels worsened the condition of tourism sector. The restoration of the new government and cease fire between the government and the rebels has changed the situation.
