In Gulf Times, I found an interesting report titled ‘Nepal mission rejects charges in news report’. In this report, Nepalese embassy in Doha (capital city of Qatar) has refuted the accusations brought against it by a Nepalese newspaper in Kathmandu. The major accusations are:
Many Nepalese workers are suffering in the prisons of Qatar.
Nepalese workers do not receive fair treatment and salary after going to Qatar.
Nepalese workers are even sent to places like Iraq after they go Qatar.
Nepalese embassy in Doha creates problem when the duration of passport of Nepalese citizens expire and do not give new passports easily.
These are serious accusations indeed. In the report of Gulf Times, an official of Nepalese embassy in Doha has categorically denied all the allegations. He has tried to prove that it is the Nepalese workers who act ignorantly and often break immigration laws in Qatar and bring suffering for themselves. Well, I hate to admit it but I feel that Nepalese embassy official has a point. Anyway, I feel that Nepalese government should investigate the accusations and solve the problems.

I am working in doha scinc 08 Aprl 2006. But I Can't get same duty. I came from SKB Manpower Bansundhara. which told me in nepal's agent. He told me that you can get 1500 Qr salary but i get here only Qr 800 and i had to pay to manpower NRs 110000 in nepal.i have to pay food alounce and electricity and water charge net save Qr 500 deficulty. and now i tell to my boss that i want to go my home place in my ticket. and also i can't get 3 months salary. he didn't give me ticket and khurucha. Please sir Help Me. I am very painful stage. Now, I leave my duty I have no money to take food. Please sie as soon as posible help me. Now i want to study in my country.
