Even just 60 years ago, India was a British colony and the British companies had total monopoly in the Indian market. Now, things are changing and many British companies are outsourcing their jobs to India. According a survey carried out in the UK, 82% respondents felt that enough jobs have been outsourced to India. BBC reported:
According to the poll carried out by Deloitte and YouGov, 82% of the 2,000 people questioned said that enough work had been shipped to overseas firms.
A third said companies should be forced to bring jobs back into the UK.
Many firms have moved jobs to countries including India and South Africa, where labour costs are cheaper.
The irony is that compared to US companies, British companies have outsourced much fewer jobs to India. Still, British people feel that British companies should stop outsourcing right away. Well, I am sure that British companies and decision makers do not share the same view on outsourcing. Even if they do not like outsourcing jobs to India, British companies have to do it to cut back on their cost.
I feel that it is like poetic justice. For two hundred years, Britain ruled India and British companies took full advantage of the Indian market and many Indian people lost their jobs.
MR.Rizab ahmed, i see so many articles regarding your 'CONCERN' for india.Thank you for your concern shown towards india. It makes clear to me that you are a pakistani and dont you think it is more important for you to concentrate on your business rather than somebody elses????
