This is really now the million dollar question. This question is now haunting all the players of England and India. The players of both the teams now feel that they are just one game away of having a historic ODI series victory. Twenty20 World Cup 2007 is going to start from next week. So, a victory in the 7th ODI will surely boost the confidence of the winning team. Who will win India vs England 7th ODI?
I feel that India will win the 7th ODI. I have never seen such an amazing turnaround from team India in foreign soil. India was trailing the series by 1-3 and then Indian players managed to win the next two matches and the series is leveled at 3-3.
The good thing with Indian team is that their top batsmen are in very good form. In two consecutive matches, they could score more than 300 runs. This is an amazing feat in ODI cricket. The thing that I liked in the 6th ODI was that Indian lower order batsmen snatched the match away from England. Tendulkar and Ganguly both played well in the match. So, I am optimistic that Tendulkar and Ganguly would play well again in India vs Engalnd 7th ODI. Rahul Dravid, Dhoni and Yuvraj Sing disappointed the Indian fans in the 6th ODI. So, they will have to take charge and play better in India vs England 7th ODI.
To be honest with you, I am really worried about Indian bowling in the 7th ODI. Indian bowlers conceded far too many runs in the last two ODIs. Think of the 6th ODI. At one stage, England lost 4 wickets for just 83 runs. Indian bowlers failed to sustain the pressure and England managed to score 316 runs in the end. So, Indian bowlers will have to work harder in India vs England 7th ODI.
If I am disappointed with Indian bowling then I have to say that I am worried about Indian fielding. It has become a cliché to say that Indian fielding is terrible. I am not satisfied with the fielding of any player in the current Indian squad.
On the other hand, England is struggling with injuries of some important players. Indian batting is not bad but their bowlers are finding it tough to contain the Indian batsmen especially this is the case in the last two matches. I am not unhappy with English fielding.
Now, let us come back to the original question: Who Will Win in India vs England 7th ODI? I think that India has a better chance. Indian players have achieved an amazing turnaround. So, they are confident of winning the last match. On the other hand, English players are now not very happy to come to position in ODI series. Secondly, Tendulkar and Ganguly are in good form now and they are among the highest run scorers in ODI form of cricket. If they can again shine in the 7th ODI then this can really cause trouble for England.
Who do you think will win in India vs England 7th ODI?
India won the 7th ODI agaist england a lords.
